Lifetime Limited Warranty
A Lifetime Limited Warranty is given by GTR Leather Company to the original retail purchaser only. This covers the frame and spring system materials against failure or breakage under conditions of ordinary residential use. Lifetime is defined by the life of the original upholstery covering. Recovering the frame voids all warranties. This lifetime limited warranty does not apply to any product intentionally misused; or damage resulting from negligence, exposure, rental or commercial use, or other unreasonable uses. Also the lifetime limited warranty does not cover damage or failures due to the application of any chemical treatment, improper cleaning, or when heavy soiling or abuse is evident.
One-Year Limited Warranty
GTR Leather Company warrants to the original retail purchaser only, protection against failure of the fiber, cushion, leather, any mechanical or electrical parts including recliner, motors and bed mechanisms, and abnormal loss of resiliency of filling materials. These items are guaranteed to be free from manufacturing defects for a period of ONE (1) year. Compressing of polyurethane foam or feather and fiber fillings with use is not considered loss of resiliency but is considered normal wear and is not a defect.
Leather Warranty
GTR Leather Company uses only top quality covering materials. Leather covers are warranted against defective materials and workmanship for ONE (1) year from the original date of purchase. This includes stitching and seam failure. This warranty does not include color fading, stretching, or dye lot issues. Leather is a natural product and therefore no two pieces of leather are the same. Leather has natural wrinkles, marks, and scars. Variations in color and texture are genuine and natural features of leather and are not defects. This one-year limited warranty does not apply to any product intentionally misused; or damage resulting from negligence, exposure, rental or commercial use, or other unreasonable uses. Also the one-year limited warranty does not cover damage or failures due to the application of any chemical treatment, improper cleaning, or when heavy soiling or abuse is evident. Where there is evidence of excessive soiling, improper cleaning, abuse, or where the leather has had some form of chemical applied the leather warranty will not apply.
In the Event of Defects
Any defects should be reported promptly to the dealer, accompanied with proof of purchase. If the repair is warranted, the dealer will make arrangements with you for the repair. Covered repairs will be completed within a reasonable timeframe. For product more that ONE (1) year old, the original retail purchaser is responsible for labor in making the repair and also for shipping costs incurred. Materials cost under the lifetime limited warranty is covered by GTR Leather Company.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
This limited warranty establishes the original retail purchaser’s exclusive remedies. No representative, dealer, or employee of GTR Leather Company has the authority to increase or alter the obligations or limitations under this warranty. The obligations of GTR Leather Company under this warranty shall not exceed the cost of the non-conforming product(s). The duration of any implied warranty, including that of merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose, shall be limited to ONE (1) year from the date of purchase. IN NO EVENT SHALL GTR Leather Company BE LIABLE FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES. (Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation exclusion may not apply.)
